Accessibility statement

At Ocado, we’re committed to providing a website that’s accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.

We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and, in doing so, already follow many of the available standards and guidelines. As part of our accessibility work, we also aim to meet Level A of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and working to them will help to make our websites more user-friendly for all.

Ocadoretail.com has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS, which allows our website to be viewed correctly in all modern, standards-compliant browsers. Plus, our continued use of standards-compliant HTML/CSS code means it will continue to display correctly as future browsers are developed.

However, whilst we use (and will continue to use) the accepted guidelines and standards to develop the majority of our website, some areas are yet to meet the high standards we aim for. That’s why we will continue to look for solutions that will ultimately make our entire website fully accessible.
